What’s new

Every release of the website, the API and the KOReader plugin, newest first.

  1. Almanac, moon and 14 new live designs

    • KOReader plugin 0.6: reading screens. Your book, progress, time left, reading streak, cover or a highlight on the sleep screen, drawn on the device; nothing is sent to us.
    • Lịch vạn niên: lunar date, can chi, solar terms, auspicious hours, moon phase, and sunrise and sunset for your city.
    • Tonight’s moon, drawn to its real phase, on paper or in dark mode.
    • New designs: Morning Brief, Great Wave Weather, Year Progress, Christmas Countdown, Minimal Dark, Truyện Kiều, Ca dao tục ngữ, 24 Tiết khí, Trung thu and more.

  2. Daily email, Pro trials and a live preview

    • Daily email (Pro): today’s image arrives at the hour you choose, ready for Send to Kindle. Failed sends are retried and logged.
    • RSS feed (Pro) for every private link, for IFTTT, Zapier or a feed reader.
    • Try Pro without a card: unlock three premium designs for 7 days each, on the website and on your reader.
    • A delivery history for every device, and a public status page.
    • Images are reduced to the 16 gray levels of an e-ink screen with dithering, for smoother skies and smaller files.
    • Seven more e-readers with exact profiles: Kindle Paperwhite (2024), Kindle Colorsoft, Kobo Elipsa 2E, BOOX Palma, BOOX Go 7, PocketBook Verse Pro and InkPad 4.
    • Plans now include devices: 1 on the free plan, up to 5 with Pro, unlimited with Founders. Devices you already had stay.
    • A new home page with a live preview for your reader, plus About, Help center and this changelog.
